Role Summary:

Responsible for managing projects whilst meeting assigned targets relating to quality, timeframe and budget, including developing key client relationships and building networks within the industry. Providing leadership and technical advice and acting as a role model to peers and subordinates where appropriate, whilst driving self-development as well as supporting the career development of the team

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage selected projects or components of projects, be responsible for resource allocation, manage subcontractors, quality assurance and client feedback and ensure effective communication of any changes/modifications

• Work in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design

• Provide both leadership and technical advice to project team members

• Review and ensure compliance in the components of the project for which responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies

• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients on projects

• Maintain a good understanding of the background of the client’s business and industry to facilitate building effective and enduring relationships and consolidating both company and personal credibility in the industry.

• Provide direction to the project team, leadi by example to achieve sector goals and champion a quality, innovative, client-focussed and entrepreneurial culture

• Assist in developing team members to their full potential

• Awareness and compliance with relevant H&S regulations and to promote a culture of awareness within the team

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis.

Qualifications

Role Requirements:

• Relevant engineering or associated degree and professional services background

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good motivational, influencing and people management skills

• At least 15-20 years Building projects, heritage buildings is preferable

• Some experience in managing commercial aspects of a project

• Ability to think in an innovative and entrepreneurial manner
