Job Description:
Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for database Installation, Configuration, Patch, High Availability, Disaster Recovery & Administration on level 1 & 2 of RDBM MSSQL Server.Perform troubleshooting, performance analysis, database & application health check, backup and restore as required. Handle relevant complaints/request through internal tickets & change management system. Perform weekly, monthly & quarterly maintenance of the databases. Coordinate to the Systems as well as Storage team for the databases requirements.
The ideal candidate should be Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or related area with experience of 3 to 5 years in Relational Database Management Systems and interested to learn SQL or NoSQL new database technologies, including hands on Linux as well as windows OS and vendor certifications such as MCTS.
