WSP is looking for a Façade Engineering Consultant to join our expanding KSA team.
WSP welcomes applications for part time and flexible working and would be happy to discuss potential options with you as part of your application.
A Typical Week Would Include
The role primarily involves design support of façade systems from concept design through to tender documentation, including the review and technical commentary of architectural designs and preparation of technical reports, specifications, and detailed drawings. The role may also include construction stage design supervision such as the review of façade-related submittals. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of façade materials, systems, and performance requirements.
We’d Love To Hear From You If You Have
To qualify you should have a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture or Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in design or façade construction; at least 5 of which should be in the same role within a façade design team. You should be able to support the development of a façade design on a project, with some supervision by a principal consultant, and with the support of the wider team. You must be able to effectively communicate ideas to collaborate with external clients and consultants to achieve set goals. It would be expected that you would have operating knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D design tools such as Revit, Navisworks and/or Rhino.
