Description
DUTIES
The Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) oversees the day to day sales efforts and is responsible for the overall positioning of the hotel, brand communications and the development of customers for the entire hotel operations including but not limited to: Rooms, Events, F&B outlets and Spa
He/she is responsible for all the hotel Marketing functions, maximizing total hotel revenue market share, and optimization of profit returns, as well as maintaining a relationship and close coordination between the hotel Marketing Division and Shangri-La International Hotels and Resorts Corporate Marketing team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a 5* hotel
- Exceptional communications skills in English and Arabic (both written and spoken)
- Bachelor degree.
- Knowledge in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Events Management, Communications and Reservations functions
- Strong leadership & organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- A leader with the ability, to coach, train and develop others
