Position Description:
Working as a bridge between
customers and engineering teams, Application Engineer use customer input and
sales information to design or re-design, develop, test and implement applications.
They also provide technical support and expertise to customers, testing
applications, responding to customer feedback, installations, maintenance and
often performing sales presentations and demonstrations
Position Requirements:
- Techno-commercial bid
preparation which involves
i. Review Project
specifications, valve data sheets, process sheets, Applications Engineering,
vendor document review, Inspection and testing requirements etc.
ii. Contact appropriate
factories and sub-suppliers for support.
iii. Timely preparation of
SAP’s
- Provide sales and
technical services to all end-users and representatives throughout the Region.
- Provide prompt
acknowledgement of customer enquiries and queries.
- Respond to technical
clarifications or attend technical discussions depending upon the requirement
of the project.
- Review contracts and
ensure compliance to the proposal. Process purchase orders, transfer files to
the OM, following the order hand-off procedure and Conf calls.

Compile pre-qualification dossiers.

Maintain an accurate and complete quotations log.
Preferences:
- Engineering Graduate, Preferably MechanicalEngineering
- At least 2 years experience in valve industry
- Good communication and negotiation skills
