JOB PURPOSE Provides technical support and administration of Learning managemnt system, Collaboration and Online Assissments platforms at the University 
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Analyze business processes and requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions
  • Develop and manage Business intelligent and reporting  solutions
  • Provide reports and dashboard to represent data from different systems
  • Report students and academic data in clear visualized way in graphs different formats.
  • Plan, Adopt and Test instructional technologies and reporting tools that serves the learning needs at the university.
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
REQUIRED SKILLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.·

JOB LOCATION University of Sharjah (Main)
COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to understand and find appropriate applications for data and analysis results
  • Knowledge and experience on Learning Management Systems (Blackboard) and other  instructional technologies tools
  • Knowledge and experience on ERP and accreditation solutions
  • Experience in SQL DB including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis and integration
  • Knowledge in Analytic tools and Technologies such as C#, VSTO, SharePoint, SAS, Power BI and software
  • Ability to read code and support applications, reports and processes
  • Strong customer service skills and sound Inter-personal skills
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities and solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills Arabic and English
