Description
You as a Data Analyst, will be part of Power Grids business based in Dubai, UAE. You are responsible for You will play a key part in establishing and the smooth running the Middle East Collaborative operations Center (COC), which is responsible for providing expert technical support to customers in the region. The Hitachi ABB Power division delivers solutions across the power value chain. Including system solutions for power generation, transmission technologies, substations, and distribution technologies for network management.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the accuracy of Grid Automation asset data. Build appropriate processes and maintain databases to ensure customer asset information is kept up to date.
- Analyze data and prepare reports which allow customers to perform risk-based asset condition and cybersecurity vulnerability monitoring.
- Participate in sales support activities to promote Hitachi ABB Power Grids’ service offering for Grid Automation
- Ensure asset data is handed over to the Service Organization after project energization.
- Triage technical support cases that are registered to the COC and ensure they are properly assigned to appropriate resources
- Track the performance of the technical support queue and report on case resolution metrics according to agreed KPIs and the requirements specified in customer Service Level Agreements

Your background
- Knowledge of advanced data analytics techniques and machine learning.
- Experience with Salesforce, asset management systems and PowerBI an advantage.
- Knowledge of Grid Automation systems an advantage.
- Analytical, technical thinking with a focus on detail and willingness to take ownership when solving complex issues.
- Ability to travel up-to 20%.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required. Arabic is a plus.
